Outdoor constructions are often very difficult to integrate into a finished space. For this reason, it is necessary to make a proper study and supervision when you decide to make a construction.
Very often there is a very special shape in the exterior space that makes it very difficult to design. For example, a veranda may not be a regular rectangular shape but a factor. For this reason, in such rooms, we often choose to follow the shape of the space either with wooden structures or with structures that combine metal with wood.
When the requirement is for a solid roof either for shading or for covering from rain, we combine metal with wood and avoid putting a tent that will emphasize even more the factor of the space.
In paragonal spaces when the requirement is for aluminum construction with an opening roof such as rotating blinds then we define the maximum possible dimension that we can have the opening roof and the rest of the sections remain empty. In order to get a beautiful effect, we use hidden screws without visible corners and connections.
Alternatively, we can combine the two ceilings and in the side sections cover them with fixed aluminum blinds or wooden ones so as to have a beautiful result.
Another common problem that we often face is the coverage of openings without an intermediate column. In this case, a metal frame is used from hollow beams or other types of columns and beams of the EEA / IPE / UPN type depending on the desired design.
Very often there is an inability to support the building in the desired places. In this case, we design and construct a special type of base that can be parked on the building. Then on them, we base our construction. Alternatively, we design self-supporting structures.
In addition, many times there are multiple coverage needs in one space. Therefore we draw a single skeleton and divide the surface into two or more sections depending on the use. We select the appropriate ceiling for each section (for example, one ceiling in the dining room and another in the living room.) on smaller terraces we choose flexible masking solutions, e.g. rotating blinds, and opening awnings.
Finally, as most of the time, we go to finished houses, the piercing of the floor and the injury of the insulation is a great anxiety to most of our customers. The support of the construction on the floor is of utmost importance for its strength and durability.
The best support is done by drilling and lacing the pillar bases on the concrete slab using specialized materials that repair the injury and achieve complete insulation (eg epoxy resins, etc.). Other times for the most proactive, prefabricated and installation of bases is done before insulation.
What is certain is that all problems are overcome when a proper study is done and there is proper cooperation between the manufacturer and the interested party.
